| Legs, 9/22/05, Mix medium on canvas, 48X 60 inches $2,500.00 Most people think if you have legs, you have the freedom to go anywhere. Now that I think about it, I refer to my wheelchair as my legs and I only talk about the parts on my lower limbs. There will always be limits to where my real and metaphorically legs can take me. That is why I considered my knees to be more important. I have crawled places that I should not have gone and without my knees I could not do my art. There have been times when my knees have been so hurt, that I had doctor notes to sit out my art classes. |
