Very interesting article,It can be amazing that most of society still see PWDs as someone needing to be taken care of, or always need to be watched. Think about it, in a span of less in 12 hours I have experienced being kick of hotels for not having PCA with me, or kick out of a bar for "being to drunk" when I just have CP. Then hours later I could be honored for my art and speaking out for PWDs. Maybe since people know movies and plays are scripted and can be fiction, after 2 hours people still go back to old mind set of "what it is to be disabled"? I will be disabled for 42 years Monday and I am trying to figure it out!
I always say, I can just change one mind at a time then I am still doing my job.
We wouldn’t accept actors blacking up, so why applaud ‘cripping up’?

I New It Was European
I saw this trailer on TV and it did not have any talking, I
was thinking wow Wifey and I need to go see this. Even thou our lives are in
the mist of chaos, it would be a nice escape for a couple hours.
I kept thinking about the movie and realized it had to be
European. It seems to progressive to come out in the mainstream movie
releases. In addition, the Oscar race is
still several months away.
I was hoping it was American made, I do not mean to be cocky
maybe my documentary hit a cord with some filmmakers. In that they broke
through the well, see Josh this why we need to start a CP compound.
Then I looked
up The Intouchables and my thoughts were proven right.

Do You Remember These?

You are never too old to try new things. This weekend I went to my first 3D movie at the age of 37. I never had interest in going to a 3D movie. I knew using those paper glasses would be more frustrating then worth. This weekend we had the Greco kids and they wanted to see Despicable Me. It was very enjoyable because now they use real glasses frames.
This also reminds me when I first met my friend Mike in college. He asked me if I like Star Wars?
I replied I never got into it.
Mike thought I physically could not get in the movies.
